Exploring EXPOs

Still part of searching possible business, I’m now into exploring Expos. Awhile ago, I visited Philippine Business and Entrepreneur Expo (PBEX) in Megamall.

Interesting notes:
- P65.00 life insurance through text only covering 1 year
- Ice cream products with freezer
- Stocks investments
- Picture printing machine that can be placed anywhere
-Free Seminars focus on Internet Marketing and Search Engine Optimization

I will explore more on tips in visiting and later joining Expos.

MARKET UP IN 9TH SONA OF GMA

Yesterday was a full blown pro and anti-President Gloria Arroyo day! The heavy rain did not stop the protesters and supporters alike.

While everyone relaxed and watched the television (It was declared holiday!), the stock market went high. It’s unusual though, in every political uncertainty and speculations, the market seemingly goes down. But not this 9TH SONA of GMA. That’s good news!

INVESTING IN THE STOCK MARKET

The “Investing in the Stock Market” lesson for tonight is timing with my quest for personal financial management. It gave me a more in-depth but basic background in stock investment.

Some of the important thoughts:
• There is a real and big money in becoming an insurance agent
• There is such thing as mutual fund specialist
• First time to hear “Samurai” bond and “hot” money

I am now excited for Philippine Stock Exchange visit!

The pest is in the soil!

I already figured out what’s the problem! The soil itself is infected with a pest! I remember that I placed a cloth in every pot and box to prevent soil erosion. However, according to what I’ve read, cloth in contact with soil increases the moisture driven pest attack.

Therefore, I will dry-up all the pots and box so the pests in it will automatically die too. I prematurely harvested the previous batch of Pechays.

I learned that it is better to record and post calendar to remind of the exact age of the plants. This can be as simple as paper and pencil clipped in stick and erected near them.

Now I’m more excited to learn new discoveries with the fourth batch of Pechay planting experiment. I have already prepared the replacement seeds, they are now four days old!
