Adult social networking: why it's powerful and how it works assignment
What do you want?
All you need to start networking is pen and paper and about 15 minutes of time.
First, think about how you want to use networking in your life. Maybe you want to get ahead in your career, or perhaps you want to switch into a different field. Perhaps you want to build a network of people to help a cause dear to your heart, or maybe you just want to expand your social scene.
Next, write down your networking goal(s).
Finally, make a list of every person, group or company you can think of that is in some way connected to your goal. At this stage, the idea is to brainstorm, so no idea is too small or too big. You might want to include the name of a neighbor with an enviable job, or the name of the top five corporations in your field.
Keep this list handy—you'll be coming back to it many times.

MISSION 101 - 101 THINGS IN 1001 DAYS PROJECT
101 THINGS IN 1001 DAYS
The Mission
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.
The Criteria
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).
Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as New Year’s resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.
